Chesney Claire is a singer-songwriter and producer from Lake Charles, Louisiana, now based in Northwest Arkansas. She started performing young, taking early vocal lessons in Branson, Missouri, before returning to Louisiana and cutting her teeth in her high school choir. Since then she's built a career as a genuinely independent artist — she owns her own record label, has released more than 30 records, and has written well over 200 songs, with dozens more demoed. Her sound moves fluidly across pop, hip-hop, R&B, and country, and she's picked up national attention along the way — she's appeared on both American Idol and NBC's The Voice, and she's a voting member of the Recording Academy.
Beyond the studio, she's a working live act, performing pop, country, and hip-hop sets at restaurants, bars, casinos, and festivals across Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas, with a calendar that includes private events, parades, and special performances close to her new home base. She's also stretched into acting and modeling, and has talked about wanting to write and direct her own music videos as her next creative move.
